Showing the world the difference you make.

Hi, I’m Rachel. I am an award-winning impact specialist.

My passion lies in helping my clients to capture the difference they make to the people they serve - especially where that difference is something that might feel intangible or unmeasurable.

I spent the first part of my career working as a management consultant specialising in complex change programmes and transformed into a solo business owner after having my first child, and I now have 12 years of successful self-employment under my belt.
As a result, I have built an award-winning evaluation and impact measurement business, successfully helping countless business owners and charities get to the heart of understanding their impact and finding ways to maximise it.

I help my clients to focus their efforts on the things that deliver the greatest value and impact, and support them in stopping the things that aren’t serving them or their audiences.

My clients are a diverse group - from global membership organisations, the RAF, youth charities and Local Authorities to smaller, founder-led businesses - but I make sure that every project I run prioritises the creation of positive change and impact.

Every project I run is impact-focussed: whether it’s a short, sharp Rapid Impact Review, a more in-depth Impact Report, or a full-scale organisational impact overhaul.

My work results in reports and products that my clients use for a variety of important purposes, such as to inform strategy & policy, to market & showcase their work, to raise funds, for social proof or to apply for awards.

I am at my most inspired when I help people to uncover the amazing impact that they create through their work.

My background

I originally trained at PA Consulting Group and since then I’ve gone on to provide advice to a wide range of clients across the private, public and third sectors.

I started my career as a public sector management consultant, delivering large-scale change projects for clients including the Department for Education, the Home Office and the Fire and Rescue Service. I then went on to specialise in education, and I spent time working for a small educational consultancy and then took a role at the London Development Agency, managing a programme to re-engage young people who were Not in Education, Employment and Training.

But, when I was pregnant with my first child, I was made redundant from that job. Suddenly, I realised that I had the opportunity to take control of my own destiny, so I started working as a self-employed consultant and I’ve not looked back!

Over the last 12 years I have been lucky enough to work for myself, delivering some brilliant projects that make my heart sing, for vibrant and exciting clients whose values match mine.

Corporate Social Responsibility

I am passionate about improving outcomes for other people. Every project that I deliver is connected with making a positive difference in some way.

Alongside the work I deliver for my clients, I make sure that I demonstrate this in other ways too. I am a committed governor for my children’s all-through school, and I also donate my time pro bono to help the school to capture and maximise the impact they have on their students.
